Financial Administrator- Contract 


One of our clients , a ship outfitting company is in search of a Financial Administrator to join their company based at the Waterfront.  

They in search of a self-starter candidate that is able to multi-task, manage their own time. Further essential qualities include being deadline driven, good communication skills ad team player with integrity.  

The candidate must understand the purpose of a reconciliation whether it be a creditor or bank reconciliation.

When processing entries the candidate must understand what they are doing and the implications of their entry.

The candidate must understand the basic accounting principles of what type of account increases with a debit/credit, the difference between an expense and liability.

When processing the cashbook, understand whether an item should be expensed or set off against a liability.

Report to the Financial Manager.

Specific job requirements:

  • Min 2 years’ experience as payroll administrator
  • Pastel Evolution /Pay space
  • Good understanding of debits and credits by transaction types
  • Experience in reconciling cashbooks, creditors and debtors.
  • Experience in E-Filing submissions
  • No criminal record
